Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!
This is my 17th year in Huntsville ISD and my 10th year teaching at MPMS. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University and Lumberton High School. I have lived in Texas all of my life and don't see that changing in the future. Some things I am interested in: photography, cooking, traveling, crafts, football fan, and continuing to learn. The most relaxing place in the world to me is visiting Crystal Beach, Texas. My husband and I have two fur babies: Lynny, a Chihuahua/Schipperke puppy and Goldie, a Calico cat. I enjoy attending extracurricular activities at MPMS and love being a HORNET! ~Sting 'Em!~
Spring Semester Parents & Guardians,
I'm looking forward to working with your child this spring semester. There are many exciting opportunities for your child to learn about the world of photography, journalism, global awareness, reporting, and finding their voice. Throughout the semester there will be labs in class and the homework assigned is typically to review vocabulary and steps for the lab the following day.
My classroom is open Thursday and Friday from 3:30-4:30. Fridays I can stay until 5pm for make-up work and tutorials, but I will need to know the day in advance that a student would like to stay.
* Yearbooks are still on sale for $50 at the school. Checks must be made to MPMS Yearbook and have a driver's license number and phone number on them.
If you have any questions or I can be of help, please contact me at email@example.com at the school at 936-435-6400 ext.4227.
Again, I'm looking forward to a great semester with you & your child.
